Traveling to Sri Lanka had always been on my bucket list, and the 7-day Classical Tour was a dream come true. The journey began in Colombo, where I explored the city’s vibrant markets, colonial-era buildings, and serene temples. This bustling metropolis perfectly set the tone for the adventure ahead.

Anuradhapura’s ancient wonders took my breath away. As I walked among stupas and sacred trees, I marveled at how well-preserved this first capital of Sri Lanka remains. The next stop, Sigiriya Rock Fortress, was a highlight of my trip. Climbing to the top felt like an accomplishment, and the ruins of King Kashyapa’s palace made it even more special.

The surprises didn’t end there. Polonnaruwa’s royal ruins and Buddhist temples showcased Sri Lanka’s medieval charm. Dambulla’s cave temples left me in awe with their intricate murals and statues, while Kandy’s Temple of the Tooth Relic brought a sense of peace and spirituality.

The lush greenery of Nuwara Eliya and the scenic Ella Gap offered picture-perfect moments, while the tea plantations added a touch of colonial nostalgia. The safari at Yala National Park was thrilling—I spotted a leopard, a herd of elephants, and vibrant bird species.

This tour is a must for anyone looking to explore Sri Lanka’s heart and soul. From its UNESCO World Heritage Sites to its natural wonders, every moment felt like discovering a hidden gem!
